Disney has a lot of different meal options to choose from. Whether you’re in the parks or staying at a resort, there are a variety of different food options to meet your taste buds! If you are looking for a larger meal, a buffet meal can be a great choice. Here are the best and worst buffet meals at Disney to make sure your money is well spent!

Best

Biergarten @ Epcot

Biergarten is a buffet dining experience you don’t want to miss! Located in the Germany portion of the World Showcase, you’ll find Oktoberfest excitement all year round! While this might not sound like a family friendly experience, the entertainment and fun are perfect for all ages! The buffet staples are heavenly and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve stepped into Germany.

Boma @ Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

While this resort is kind of far away, it’s a hidden gem for sure! This restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the travel! The atmosphere takes you into the heart of an African marketplace where you’ll find a variety of African-inspired options as well as your standard American dishes. This buffet has the largest variety and the best atmosphere of all the resort buffet options.

Cape May Cafe @ Beach Club Resort

This hidden gem is one of the best buffets for those looking for variety! You will find seafood, mac and cheese, and even a whole dessert buffet to choose from! While it may be a little pricey, this all you can eat buffet is a hidden gem. It’s a mere 10-minute drive to Disney Springs, making this a great buffet to hit on the way!

Liberty Tree Tavern @ Magic Kingdom

Liberty Tree Tavern takes you back in time to a dining experience right out of the colonial era. While the menu might have you thinking of comfort food, you’ll find the dishes here are extremely flavorful! The dishes you’ll see here almost remind you of Thanksgiving dinner. This is a great option for those on the dining plan, or who are looking to bring the comforts of home such as mashed potatoes, pork, and turkey to the table.

Worst

Chef Mickey’s @ Disney’s Contemporary Resort

While Chef Mickey’s used to be a great place to see characters and eat great food, over the years this buffet has taken a dive. Chef Mickey’s includes a buffet character meal located in the Contemporary Resort. Due to it’s exploding popularity, it seems that this restaurant is always crowded and underprepared for a large number of guests. It’s very loud and doesn’t offer any unique characters.

Hollywood and Vine @ Hollywood Studios

When it comes to the buffet, the food selection is only ever okay at best. There are a ton of options and even some unique options, but none of these dishes ever makes you want seconds. While you can meet and greet with characters, the overall theme is kind of dull. For the price, your money is better spent at another buffet.

There are so many different buffet meals to choose from that the choice can seem daunting! Hopefully, this guide has helped make that decision easier, so you can have a great dining experience.
